CATE BLANCHETT - BLANCHETT REFUSES TO LET PAPARAZZI WIN

The 2008 Cannes Film Festival - Day 5
'Indiana Jones 4' - Photocall
Cannes, France ....
Oscar winner CATE BLANCHETT refuses to be stressed out by paparazzi photographers, because she understands the attention comes hand in hand with being a Hollywood star.
The actress' new film BABEL recently picked up a Golden Globe award for Best Picture while she was also nominated for her supporting role in NOTES ON A SCANDAL.
Playing down her celebrity status, Blanchett says, "It's annoying when photographers follow you around, but you don't let them win.
"We all live in a goldfish bowl. People know what TV station we're tuned into, what newspapers we receive. We're all monitored in some way, it's just that some of us have more of it than others."
