BOND - BLACKMAN PREFERS AVENGERS HERO TO BOND

Former BOND girl HONOR BLACKMAN preferred working with The Avengers star PATRICK MACNEE over 007 heart-throb SIR SEAN CONNERY, because she found the Scots actor "hard work". The 79-year-old actress played Pussy Galore alongside Connery's super spy in classic Bond movie Goldfinger (1964), and also co-starred with MACnee as anthropologist Cathy Gale in cult 1960s TV show The Avengers. The actress says, "Don't get me wrong, Sean was very sexy and a wonderful man but also very professional - he was hard work. "The best and most memorable had to be Patrick MACnee. He was a gentleman and a friend and really great to work with."
