ANTONY RUFUS ISAACS - BIOPIC OF SAS FOUNDER PLANNED

The founder of British elite fighting force the SAS is to be immortalised in a new blockbuster movie. SIR DAVID STERLING founded the fighting unit Special Air Service in 1941, and coined the famous phrase 'Who Dares Wins'. Handmade Films has snapped up Sterling's life story and will start shooting the big budget movie later this year (07). Handmade boss ANTONY RUFUS ISAACS says, "Everyone is familiar with the SAS, but a few know of its origins. David Stirling was the driving force behind the clandestine group which set the standard for all special forces."
