Actress RACHEL BILSON can add fashion designer to her resume - she's launching her own line with fashion brand DKNY. The Jumper star has been working closely with the fashion house on her collection Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans - named after her grandmother Edie and family friend Rose - to ensure every item has her own personal touch. And the 26-year-old's new venture has even inspired her to take up sewing. She says, "This is something that I have been interested in doing for such a long time… Fans of The O.C. really like DKNY Jeans, and I know they make great stuff, so I thought it could be good. "I have a yellow scarf that I love and I was really inspired by it. I was so happy they were able to get that same yellow into the clothes… I can't draw at all, so I won't be doing any sketches, but I am learning to sew. I think it's important to know more about the whole process of making clothes." But Bilson insists her range of clothes will be different from other stars' lines and won't cost fans a fortune: "I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously… "I also want to show people that you don't have to pay a million dollars for clothes that look good. For me, I love vintage clothes and I shop vintage all the time. It's fun to play and put things together. You don't have to spend a lot to get a great look."
