The SMILE hitmaker snapped up the chance to take part in UK company DatingDirect.com's fourth annual Celebrity Dream Date auction. And the kooky pop beauty is beating out competition from several models including catwalk beauty JODIE KIDD, with bids for a night of romance with the singer exceeding GBP2,100. Allen's profile promises her "feisty personality and ability to speak her mind will certainly keep you entertained and make you smile", and lists her interests as "designing trainers, writing music, collecting records, sassy dresses and Sunday roasts". The auction closes on 1 October (06). Proceeds will go to a range of charities including the late JOE STRUMMER's music fund STRUMMERVILLE.
