SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR - BEXTOR BLAMES BAD EQUIPMENT FOR POOR PERFORMANCE

British singer SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR has blamed faulty equipment for her disastrous televised performance last week (30DEC06). The MURDER ON THE DANCE FLOOR hitmaker disappointed fans after making an awkward appearance on the BBC's New Year's live show. Bextor says, "I was given the wrong microphone and couldn't hear myself at all. "It was a bit of a baptism of fire back into the pop world. It can only get better in 2007!"
