BEWITCHED STAR GHOSTLEY DEAD AT 81
BEWITCHED star ALICE GHOSTLEY has lost her long battle with colon cancer at her home in California. She was 81.
The Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen played housekeeper Esmerelda on magical sitcom Bewitched from 1969 to 1972.
She also appeared in film classics The Graduate, Grease and To Kill A Mockingbird.
Ghostley won her Tony for The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window in 1965, and was nominated for an Emmy in 1992 for her longrunning role of Bernice Clifton in hit TV show Designing Women.
