HALLE BERRY - BERRY: 'I'M NOT AN ABUSED WOMAN'

Oscar winner HALLE BERRY has dismissed reports she was a battered woman, insisting her physical battles with men were one-offs. The MONSTER'S BALL beauty has previously admitted she had experienced violence in past relationships, but insists the first time her exes raised their hands to her, was also the last time. She tells Reader's Digest magazine, "I'm so not a battered woman. "Have I been in physical altercations with men? Absolutely. But the minute that happens they see the back of me. My mother was a battered woman. She was battered by my father."
