HALLE BERRY - BERRY GOES HOME FOR PREMIERE

HALLE BERRY went home to Cleveland, Ohio last night (22MAR07) to host the premiere of her new movie in the rain. Almost 1,000 fans braved the downpour to greet the Oscar-winning actress as she arrived at the city centre cinema for a screening of thriller PERFECT STRANGER. Berry introduced the film before the packed cinema, stating, "I'm so happy to be home... No matter how many countries I've been to, no matter how many warm receptions I've gotten, my heart was beating when I pulled up. Nothing feels better. "The voices all sound familiar in some weird way. I'm of here. I'm from here. And I'm one of you." Guests at the premiere included Cleveland Mayor FRANK JACKSON and Cleveland Browns American footballer BRAYLON EDWARDS.
