SUGABABES - BERRABAH ARRESTED AFTER ROW WITH NEIGHBOUR

SUGABABES star AMELLE BERRABAH was arrested on Thursday morning (10Jan08) for allegedly causing damage to a neighbour's car following a row with the vehicle's owner. The British singer was taken to a police station in Aldershot, Hampshire - 55 kilometres (35 miles) south west of London - after the incident, which took place at her sister Laila's home. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "There's been needle between the two families and on Thursday it hit boiling point. There was shouting and a girl called police, who got there about 10.45am. Amelle was shaking as officers carted her off." Berrabah is currently free after being released on bail following four hours of questioning. A spokesman for Aldershot police confirms, "A 23-year-old woman from London was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and public order offences. She has been bailed to appear at Aldershot police station on February 21."
