Mexican actor GAEL GARCIA BERNAL found London an inspirational place to live in, because the loneliness boosted his creative side. The Babel star, 28, lived in the English capital as a student at the Central School of Speech and Drama and admits life was hard away from his family in Latin America. He says, "Of course (it was difficult), millions of people live like that - with no money and no family close by. Without that support, it was hard to kick things off. "But for me, London sends you down a route on introspection in a way that no other city does. The city confronts you and exploits the most creative side of you. Maybe that's why there are so many great artists from there."
