Soccer star and humanitarian DAVID BECKHAM has visited sick children in hospital during a charity trip to China. In his role as goodwill ambassador for the United Nation Children's Fund (UNICEF), Beckham surprised young leukaemia patients at the Xinhua Hospital in Shanghai. The trip forms part of Beckham's soccer tour of the far east with his team Los Angeles Galaxy. In January (08), he visited Sierra Leone with UNICEF to play soccer with poverty-stricken kids.
