Soccer star DAVID BECKHAM insists his recent knee injury won't interfere with his family's upcoming move to Los Angeles. The 31-year-old has been sidelined for six weeks after suffering a knee injury during a match between Beckham's Real Madrid and Getafe in Spain on Sunday night (04MAR07). A source reveals, "David has suffered ligament damage in his right leg. It's not good news, but it could have been a lot worse." There were fears his injury would impact plans for the soccer star, his wife VICTORIA and their three children to move to the US later this year (07). In January (07), Beckham signed a five-year deal with the L.A. Galaxy. The source adds, "It won't affect the family's move to the United States." Last week (ends02MAR07), it was announced that Victoria would be starring in a six-part reality TV show about her move to America.

I hope it heals well! I was a bit disappointed at his timing, since this happened right before Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match. I think if he'd been able to play Real Mardid could've won.
