BEACH BOYS TO REUNITE?
Pop legends THE BEACH BOYS are set to reunite, after the surviving bandmembers ended their decades-long rift.
Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine went their separate ways in the 1980s, prompted by Wilson's deteriorating health - caused by excessive drug use - and a spate of lawsuits over the rights to their music.
They reunited in 2006 for the 40th anniversary of their iconic album Pet Sounds - and Love is keen to create new music with Wilson and Jardine.
He tells Record Collector, "A reunion would have to begin with Brian and I writing together.
"As far as I'm concerned, I think the first step would be to create some new music, and the chemistry of Brian's innate abilities and mine combined in such a way that we could really be of mutual benefit to each other, creatively."
