BIG BROTHER - BB CONTESTANT SETTLES LIBEL CASE

Former Big Brother contestant Makosi Musambasi has reached an out-of-court settlement with the Sun after agreeing to end her libel action against the newspaper.
The case was brought originally after the paper alleged Makosi had been picked to go on the show because she was an actress rather than having to follow the normal audition process.
An editorial in the tabloid urged viewers to snub the Zimbabwean nurse, who appeared in Big Brother 6, saying she had made a professional show reel.
Claiming the contestant's appearance on the show was a "con" the Sun suggested a talent agency had been hired to aid her progress.
However, solicitor David Price said the paper had no recognised she had followed the normal procedures and had agreed to pay undisclosed damages.
No details of the agreement, which was revealed at London's High Court, were given.
The BB star, who attracted notoriety after some steamy clinches with fellow contestants, came third in the show, losing out to eventual winner Anthony Hutton.
