MISCHA BARTON - BARTON REGRETS 'STUPID' DUI ARREST

Actress MISCHA BARTON has dismissed her recent driving under the influence arrest as a "stupid" mistake. The former The O.C. star, 21, was taken into police custody on 27 December (07) after West Hollywood cops pulled her car over for driving erratically. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI, but was also booked for possession of narcotics and driving on a suspended license. And Barton insists she is full of regret for her actions. Speaking on U.S. radio host Ryan Seacrest's show on Thursday morning (10Jan08), she said: "I was pulled over and obviously, I'm 100 per cent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I'm not perfect and I don't intend to do anything this stupid again." The star is currently free on $10,000 (GBP5,000) bail.
