BAREILLES LANDS VANGUARD PRIZE

Singer/songwriter SARA BAREILLES is to receive the Vanguard Award at the 25th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Hollywood next month (09Apr08). The honour is bestowed on those who have made an impact on musical genres that help shape the future of American music. Bareilles will perform during the awards ceremony. The invitation-only event will also feature performances by ASCAP Golden Note Award honorees Steve Miller and Lionel Richie.
