CHRISTIAN BALE - BALE REFUSED TO READ DYLAN SCRIPT

Actor CHRISTIAN BALE refused to read the script before accepting his role in new film I'M NOT THERE - because it was too confusing. The American Psycho star takes on the role of music legend Bob Dylan in the new eagerly-awaited biopic. And though he underwent a rigorous music and singing schedule for the part, he had no idea what the film would entail before signing up. He says, "Director Todd Haynes sent the script - I saw that it was completely chaotic and confusing, I didn't bother reading it, I read little bits and said, 'yeah sure.' "I had people teach me how to sing and play guitar and all that."
