CHRISTIAN BALE - BALE CONTINUES BATMAN PROMOTION TRAIL

CHRISTIAN BALE turned out for the Spanish premiere of his new movie THE DARK KNIGHT on Wednesday (23Jul08), just a day after he was arrested on allegations of assault.
The Batman star, 34, was arrested in London on Tuesday (22Jul08) over allegations he attacked his mum Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, at the capital's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night (20Jul08).
But he stunned onlookers on Wednesday by walking the red carpet with his wife Sibi and costars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart at the event at Barcelona's Coliseum Theater.
The actor spent half an hour signing autographs for fans and posing for photographs but did not speak to journalists or answer questions about the incident.
