ALEC BALDWIN - BALDWIN STRUGGLES WITH TV PARKING CHALLENGE

ALEC BALDWIN showed off his lack of car parking skills when he mounted the pavement and reversed into another vehicle during a skit on U.S. TV show THE LATE SHOW on Wednesday night (03Oct07). The actor told host David Letterman he hadn't parallel parked since 1987 as he attempted the challenge outside New York's Ed Sullivan Theatre. He came close on his first attempt but bungled his second, mounting the sidewalk and hitting the car behind him. For his third attempt, Baldwin simply reversed onto the pavement and stepped out of the car to applause from passers-by.
