Former HAPPY DAYS star SCOTT BAIO has presented the producers of his upcoming reality show, SCOTT BAIO IS 45... AND SINGLE with bad news - he's been in a committed relationship with a former Playboy Playmate for two years. The actor's new VH1 series, which debuts in America next month (Jul07), follows Baio as he searches for romance as a fortysomething. But all is not what it seems on the show, according to U.S. reports - Baio has been dating Renee Sloan, who was once Pamela Anderson's Baywatch stunt double. Baio, whose past girlfriends have included Anderson, Heather Locklear and Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan, admits he initially turned down the idea of starring in a reality TV show, but then warmed to the idea. He explains, "This isn't Scott Baio getting a colonoscopy. It's about a guy trying to get his life together, trying to figure out why he's never been married." But insiders insist Baio has never truly been single; he was dating Sloan throughout the taping of the show. A source tells U.S. tabloid the Globe, "Scott's really crazy about her... Scott and Renee have been talking about starting a family."
