Just hours after performing a charity gig in London on Friday, BABYSHAMBLES were reportedly hard at work in the studio recording their third album.

PETE DOHERTY's group took to the stage at 93 Feet East to benefit Teenage Kicks but rather than partying afterwards they headed straight into the studio, according to online resource Festival Wise.

Speaking to the news provider, drummer ADAM FICEK said the group is in "the process of knocking our new album into shape".

Regarding the gig, Ficek said that they had wanted to perform as the charity was one which means a lot to the band .

He added that they had played a short set crammed with their hits and that the evening was drama free.

"It all ended up in the usual showered excitement of booze, sweat and thankfully no tears," he concluded.

Meanwhile, BABYSHAMBLES recently dismissed reports that their guitarist MICK WHITALL is leaving the group to work with AMY WINEHOUSE.

NME magazine reports that Ficek rubbished the claims, saying they made him laugh.
