JAMES CAMERON - AUTHOR ABANDONS CAMERON LAWSUIT

A British historic author has abandoned plans to sue JAMES CAMERON for plagiarism, after the film-maker proved he didn't copy his new documentary TEMPEST + EXODUS. RALPH ELLIS fired a letter off to the TITANIC director after learning the THE EXODUS DECODED covered the same subject matter as his book - that the biblical exodus of the Jews from Egypt really happened. But Cameron insists he has never read Tempest + Exodus and has sent Ellis a copy to prove it. Ellis, who has successfully sued authors who have plagiarised him in the past, says, "He eventually replied, after months of trying to track him down, and having seen the documentary, I'm satisfied he is being truthful and hasn't plagiarised me. "I have written seven books on the subject matter - so if he's interested I'd happily work with him. I have replied, offering my services." Ellis' latest book FROM CLEOPATRA TO CHRIST, claims JESUS CHRIST was the great grandson of the Egyptian queen.
