KATE HUDSON - ARMSTRONG CONSIDERS POLITICS

KATE HUDSON's cyclist boyfriend LANCE ARMSTRONG is considering running for political office.
The seven-time Tour de France champion currently devotes his time to running his cancer charity the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
But the sportsman, 36, has hinted he may turn to politics, to give him the power to make the changes he is fighting for - including an improved quality of life for cancer survivors.
Speaking at his foundation's Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday (24Jul08), Armstrong said, "There might come a time when you feel like you've reached a wall and you need to step into public office and try to make change through that channel or those ends."
Ironically, presidential wannabe John MCCain was among those in attendance.
