Canadian rockers ARCADE FIRE have urged fans to speak out against the war in Iraq - insisting they shouldn't be silent about America's "wrongdoing". Frontman WIN BUTLER believes the public has a duty to question the US political stance, despite a sense of lethargy surrounding matters to do with Iraq. He says, "The thing that is a little depressing is that in my generation there's a feeling that if you do a song about war, there's this 'Oh, I've already heard that, we know that war is bad, whatever.' "People say, we've already talked about it, war, Iraq, Bush - no we haven't, not nearly enough. You have to jump in there and make an impression. "This s**t is still happening, in our name, and it's getting worse by the day. You don't have to have an entire plan of how to withdraw from Iraq in order to say something about it. I'm not a f**king political planner, I don't know how to bale Bush out of this s**t, but it doesn't make it any less evil. "It's as though if you are confused, you're not meant to say anything. But you should. If you feel something is wrong, you shouldn't be silent."
