ANYTHING GOES FOR MCENTIRE ON BROADWAY

Country music star REBA MCENTIRE is heading back to Broadway for a revival of musical ANYTHING GOES.
The flame-haired singer wowed theatre critics in 2001 when she revamped a poorly-received Annie Get Your Gun - and now she's back for more.
The New York Post reports MCEntire will play evangelist-turned-nightclub singer Reno Sweeney in the musical. Ethel Merman originally played the role and revered thespian Patti LuPone also brought Sweeney to life in the 1980s.
