AMY WINEHOUSE - AMY WINEHOUSE'S BOND THEME MAY NOT BE RELEASED

AMY WINEHOUSE's JAMES BOND theme may not even be released, it has emerged.
Producer MARK RONSON recently confirmed that he has been working with Amy on a song for the upcoming QUANTAM OF SOLACE, but that it is not the movie's official track and so may not be released alongside it.
Speaking to BBC Music Week, Mark, who previously collaborated with Amy on her hit VALERIE, said: "Hopefully it will get used. But I don't think we've been guaranteed it, so we're working on it and we'll see happens."
"The demo sounds like a James Bond theme, hopefully. But I don't know if it'll get used," he added.
Mark continued to say that if the song is not used he would like to work on the theme for another Bond movie in the future.
This follows news that Amy has been signed up to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebrations on June 27th.
Other acts who will perform at the Hyde Park event include LEONA LEWIS, RAZORLIGHT, DUFFY, SUGABABES and EMINEM.
Some 45,000 tickets for the concert will be sold using a Glastonbury-style online registration system, which opens tomorrow for one week, reports the Sun.

You know I feel so sorry for poor Amy & her 'too-public' meltdown (she could use
some privacy right now?!), BUT...since a theme song (& score - wink*wink*) still
HAS TO BE WRITTEN and PERFORMED, the PERFECT replacement is obviously Chris Cornell,
who sang the ultra-successful theme song to the last Bond film (Casino Royale), "You
Know My Name"!! He's also on such such a "career high" right now - the more I think
about it, the more sense it makes - he could just slide in right away!!! (& if you
don't know the song, check it out on EP, or better yet, his CD release "Carry On" from
2007 : )
