LILY ALLEN - ALLEN'S STOLEN DOG GETS HOME SAFELY

LATEST: British pop star LILY ALLEN has been reunited with her kidnapped dog - and is praising the British public for MAGGIE MAY'S safe return. The SMILE star was holidaying in Jamaica when she received the news of the missing pet pooch last month (28DEC06), and posted a plea for help on her MySpace page. Allen is delighted to have the dog back at home, and has praised the "sense of community and goodwill" of the public on her blog. She says, "I have the best news ever. Maggie May is back at home safe and sound. She is riddled with fleas a bit sad and very thin, but that's not the point. "I can't tell you how overjoyed I am to have her back... I now know there is definitely some sense of community and goodwill left in this country, contrary to what some people might say."
