LILY ALLEN - ALLEN'S BROTHER ARRESTED FOR 'ASSAULTING' MOTHER

British singer LILY ALLEN's brother was arrested for allegedly assaulting their mother yesterday (01MAR07). Film producer ALISON OWEN reportedly called police claiming her actor son ALFIE ALLEN, 20, had assaulted her at the family home in Islington, London. However, Lily - currently in Paris, France - claims she has spoken to both her mother, who is said to have suffered a minor head wound, and her brother and that things are getting back to normal. She tells British newspaper The Sun, "I love my family and I wish I had been there to help calm this situation down. I have spoken to my mum and Alfie and everything is fine now.
