British actor KEITH ALLEN has a novel way of keeping in touch with his pop star daughter LILY - he reads her internet blog. The Trainspotting star is one of many fans who reads the singer's shocking journal entries on her MySpace webpage, in which she writes candidly about her depression and low-self esteem. But the 54-year-old insists nothing his daughter writes can surprise him. He says, "No (it's not painful to read). Not at all. It's just that she writes the truth. There's nothing I've read that makes me think, 'F**k, I'd better get on a plane and go and sort her out.' Well, there was one dodgy moment in America but Alison (his ex-wife and Lily's mother) flew out. "Lily's weakness is about self-esteem and you just have to be kind and supportive. If that doesn't work after 10 minutes, then I just say, 'Oh grow up.' Please put 'He laughed' after that last bit or she'll be straight on the phone."
