AKON is celebrating after his collaboration with EMINEM, SMACK THAT, jumped straight to the top of the European singles chart. The track has kept big name competition off the number one spot - JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE FEAT TI's MY LOVE IS at number two while CHRISTINA AGUILERA is at number three with HURT. Falling three places to number four is U2 and GREEN DAY's THE SAINTS ARE COMING, while SCISSOR SISTERS are at number five with I DON'T FEEL LIKE DANCING. In the European albums chart, GEORGE MICHAEL compilation TWENTY FIVE is the best-selling disc of the week and DEPECHE MODE's THE BEST OF VOL 1 is at number two. ROBBIE WILLIAMS is at number three with RUDEBOX, while JJ CALE and ERIC CLAPTON's THE ROAD TO ESCONDIDO is at number four. JAMIROQUAI's HIGH TIMES: SINGLES 1992-2006 is at number five.
