ASHLEY JUDD - AIDS ORPHANS MAKE JUDD THINK TWICE ABOUT STARTING A FAMILY

World premiere screening of the National Geographic Channel documentary 'India's Hidden Plague: Ashley Judd's Mission'
Washington DC ....
Actress ASHLEY JUDD fears she'll never have her own child because she'd feel too guilty about not adopting one of the millions of unwanted and orphaned children who need a home.
A global ambassador for the YouthAIDS organisation, Judd has travelled the world and has seen suffering children desperate for a family.
That and the parentless child statistics she knows by heart have forced her to think twice about having children with husband, racing car driver Dario Franchitti.
She explains, "The fact that there are 25 million AIDS orphans makes it hard to decide (to have kids).
"The fact that 11 million children will die this year before reaching their fifth birthdays makes it hard. We should be providing for the ones who are here."
