CHRISTINA AGUILERA - AGUILERA VOWS TO VOTE THIS YEAR

CHRISTINA AGUILERA is promising to participate in this November's (08) presidential election, after failing to fulfil her civic duty in the past.
The pop star confesses she only started voting in 2004, five years after she was first eligible.
And the 27-year-old is so embarrassed by her apathy, she vows she'll turn out this year - when America gets to elect a successor to George W. Bush.
Aguilera says, "I was registered to vote as soon as I could.
"I didn't really exercise that right, embarrassingly so, until the last election."
