CASEY AFFLECK - AFFLECK COMMERCIAL 'TOO GRAPHIC' FOR TV

2008 National Board of Review Awards at Cipriani - Outside Arrivals
New York City, USA ....
CASEY AFFLECK's advertisement for animal rights campaigners People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) has been rejected from all major TV outlets, because it is "too graphic".
Executives for entertainment channels including MTV, E! and the TV Guide Channel have all turned down the commercial because horrific images of slaughterhouses were deemed inappropriate for their viewers, according to The Scoop.
In the advert, Affleck says, "When people ask me why I don't eat meat or any other animal products, I say, 'Because they're unhealthy, and they're the product of a violent and inhumane industry.'"
PETA have posted the footage on their website.
