ADKINS MISSES OIL RIGS
TRACE ADKINS is tempted to quit country music and return to his former life working on oil rigs. Adkins has made millions of dollars since he returned to dry land and embarked on a career as a country music star - but he confesses he yearns for the simplicity of life at sea. He says, "I miss it. I enjoyed it. I dug the camaraderie, machismo of working in an oil field. There were no politics. A man got promoted for a hard day's work. I miss the simplicity."
