EMMA THOMPSON - ACTRESS'S ADOPTED SON CRITICISES CELEBRITY CULTURE IN THE UK

The adopted son of actress EMMA THOMPSON has hit out at Britain's 'celebrity culture'.
In an essay for a racism monitoring group in Exeter, Tindyebwa Agaba wrote that there has been a "complete death" of politically and socially stimulating activism in the UK.
He continued to attack the apathy displayed by his fellow students at Exeter University, reports the Daily Mail.
Rwandan Agaba was unofficially adopted by HARRY POTTER star EMMA THOMPSON and her husband GREG WISE after meeting the famous pair at a Christmas party held by the Refugee Council in 2003.
Emma invited the youngster to spend Christmas Day at her London home.
Over the weekend it was reported that Emma, whose other film projects include NANNY MCPHEE and SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, was fighting an attempt to deport Tindyebwa.
A source from the Home Office told the Daily Mail: "He has not been removed and is not due to be removed."
