British pop band Girls Aloud scraped into the top five at five with their new offering, Out Of Control, charting behind Metallica's Death Magnetic at four.
Meanwhile, in the European singles chart, dance artist Guru Josh Project's Infinity 2008 has held onto the top spot for a second week.
Amy MACDonald's This Is The Life is in second place, pushing Pink's So What down to three. The top five is rounded out by Rihanna's Disturbia and Beyonce Knowles' If I Were A Boy.
