AMERICAN IDOL - ABDUL: 'I CAUGHT FAN PHOTOGRAPHING ME IN A TOILET'

AMERICAN IDOL judge PAULA ABDUL was shocked to discover an overzealous fan photographing her over a toilet cubicle partition. The 45-year-old singer couldn't believe the nervous fan didn't think there was anything wrong with invading her personal bathroom space - so she instructed her to never do it again. Abdul says, "I was mortified and she didn't think there was anything wrong with it. "I honestly was weirded out by that and she was so nervous that she thought I wouldn't even notice. And I was like, 'No, no, that's not cool.' I said to her, 'A real good tip - don't do that to anyone else.'" And she has another piece of advice for fans who approach her in the street. "The other weird thing is when people are standing right in front of you and they go, 'That's Paula Abdul!' Like you're hard of hearing. I look over my shoulder. It's scary."

i would be mordified if someone did that to me when I got married i refused to drink
anything or run to the bathroom. I knew they would all run to take pictures of me
in there with my dress poofed around me. Everyone including celebraties deserve personal
space. And if I met Paula on the street walking behind her being a huge fan I would
immediatly tell her that I just wanted to say hi. when i was 12 i got her forever
your girl tape and sat in my room and played it all day and night. posters of her
plastered on my wall a book on her life everthing I would just love to meet her someday
in person even though it probably will never happen. I watch amercan idol to see
her. so Paula if I ever get the chance i would never whisper behind your back or
act the way she did. I would just intrudoce myself after you came out and tell you how
awesome I think you are. And try to stay calm even thogh my heart would be pounding
inside knowing I am actually talking to you. I am so sorry you were treated that
way you don't deserve that.
