Rapper 50 CENT has spoken out about his current feud with fired G-UNIT bandmate YOUNG BUCK - insisting he doesn't consider his former protege an enemy.
The pair have been entangled in a bitter war of words since 50 Cent released a new track - entitled The Taped Conversation - last month (Jun08).
It featured Buck grovelling to the rapper, seemingly begging him to be allowed back in to the hip-hop group after he was kicked out in April (08) following a dispute over song royalties.
Buck - real name David Darnell Brown - hit back at the In Da Club star's claims, telling fans the recorded conversation was doctored and a fake.
And despite the pair's exchange of bitter tirades against each other, 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - claims he is merely "disappointed" by the actions of his former pal.
He tells MTV.com, "Buck is a disappointment for me. I treated him like a younger brother. ... He's not an enemy now.
"He's like a relative that decides to do something to you that you're uncomfortable with, so you don't bring him around you.
"He's like my younger brother - even if he sees me in this interview saying it to him - he won't understand. He'll just go on how it feels."
Even though the pair no longer speak, Jackson is adamant their conflicts won't get in the way of business - because Buck is still signed to his record label to release three albums.
He adds, "He'll still get his fair shot at releasing his album."
