MR BEAN - 300 BACK ON TOP

War epic 300 continues to do battle in the world's cinemas, regaining the top spot as the globe's top film from new MR BEAN comedy, MR BEAN's HOLIDAY. The bloody movie, which recounts an ancient battle between the Spartans and Persians, took in $32 million (GBP16.4 million) at 6,500 theatres in 61 countries over the Easter weekend (0608APR07) to return to the top of the world box office, according to Daily Variety. It marks the third time 300 has been number one in the past four weeks. The film has made a total world gross of $367 million (GBP188 million) in 30 days.
