Zappa Lawsuit Settled Out Of Court

A Canadian furniture store has apologised to the family of late musician FRANK ZAPPA after using one of his songs on their TV advertisements without permission.

AMEUBLEMENTS TANGUAY agreed to write a letter of apology to Zappa's widow GAIL after settling out-of-court in a case heard by the FEDERAL COURT OF CANADA.

The Zappa family complained Ameublements had infringed copyright after using WATERMELON IN EASTER HAY in 1995.
