Yorke: 'I Wanted To Work Alone'
RADIOHEAD star Thom Yorke has no intention of leaving the acclaimed band, but has completed a solo album after deciding to test himself by working alone.
The CREEP frontman has always enjoyed the backing of guitarists Jonny Greenwood and Ed O Brien, bassist COLIN GREENWOOD and drummer Phil Selway, so he decided to go it alone on upcoming LP THE ERASER.
He says, "I wanted to work on my own. I just wanted to see what it would be like."
But he has told fans the record is definitely not a precursor to a split: "As you know the band are now touring and writing new stuff and getting to a good space so I want no crap about me being a traitor or splitting up."
