Winslet Sells London Home To Paltrow

Kate Winslet has made a $756,000 (GBP420,000) profit from the sale of her London home to fellow movie actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

The British beauty, 28, splashed out $3.78 million (GBP2.1 million) on the five-bedroom pad with husband Sam Mendes two years ago (02) - and has now sold the house situated in Belsize Park, north London to Paltrow and her spouse Chris Martin for $4.53 million (GBP2.52 million).

A source says, "Chris and Gwyneth were desperate to live in this new home. The house is in a beautiful conservation area and has a huge garden.

"They will get much less hassle now - there are lots of celebrities in the area seeking normal lives away from the unwanted attention you get in other parts of London.
