Hollywood beauty Kate Winslet's tough filming schedule is beginning to rub off on daughter MIA - after the three-year-old burst into tears in a New York playground.

Winslet, who is in the city filming new movie romance + CIGARETTES alongside Susan Sarandon and SOPRANOS star James Gandolfini, was on hand to comfort the upset tot.

An onlooker says, "Mia was crying as three-year-olds are prone to do.

"But Kate gave her a kiss and a cuddle, had a word and made everything better again."
