Wimbledon Filmmakers Face Competition
The makers of tennis flick WIMBLEDON have been shocked to learn a rival movie about the sport is also being planned.
The WORKING TITLE production - which stars PAUL BETTANY and KIRSTEN DUNST - was thought to be the first major film about the sport, but now tennis champions VENUS and SERENA WILLIAMS' controversial father wants some of the action too.
RICHARD WILLIAMS, who trained his daughters himself, plans to make a film about his own sporting achievements entitled RICHARD WILLIAMS: THE PROPHET AND WOULD-BE KING.
He explains, "It's all about myself. I'm busy with my film company, producing my latest project."01/07/2003 14:14
