Wilson To Teach Portman A Lesson

Actor Owen Wilson has signed up to play Natalie Portman's teacher - and potential husband - in upcoming romantic drama THE SMOKER.

The film follows a student at a private high school who falls for her teacher and invites him to dinner at her parents' home, where they ask him to marry their daughter.

The movie is based on a short story published in NEW YORKER magazine's 2000 summer fiction issue.
