Wilson Phillips Return With A Nod To The Classics
Pop star siblings Wilson Phillips are returning to their roots to record an album of classic California rock/pop hits.
The trio, made up of the kids of BEACH BOYS star Brian Wilson and the MAMAS + THE PAPAS' JOHN PHILLIPS, are recording cover versions of tracks like Jackson Browne's DOCTOR MY EYES, OLD MAN by Neil Young and Fleetwood Mac's go YOUR OWN WAY.
The girls will also pay tribute to their fathers with new versions of the Mamas + The Papas' MONDAY, MONDAY and the Beach Boys' DANCE, DANCE, DANCE.
If the album's a hit, Wilson Phillips plan to follow it up with a project featuring classic British pop/rock hits.
