Wenders Honoured In Locarno
German director Wim Wenders was awarded with the Leopard Of Honour at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on Saturday (06AUG05).
The film-maker, 59, was honoured for his filmography, which includes PARIS, Texas; Wings of Desire and Buena Vista Social Club, by film festival director IRENE BIGNARDI and president MARCO SOLARI.
His latest film, DON'T COME KNOCKING, was screened in the city's central square following the award presentation.
