Waterman Blasts Posh Comeback
VICTORIA BECKHAM's pop comeback is doomed to fail, according to British music svengali PETE WATERMAN.
Waterman, who launched the careers of stars like KYLIE MINOGUE and STEPS, is a judge on the British POP IDOL show - which was created by former SPICE GIRLS manager SIMON FULLER, who is now in charge of Beckham's career.
And hitmaker Pete insists that despite the input of hip-hop mogul DAMON DASH, Beckham's latest singles, LET YOUR HEAD GO and THIS GROOVE, won't bring her the solo stardom she craves.
He says, "Simon Fuller will have an uphill struggle with Victoria. He's a brave man.
"I couldn't do it. I'd never want to turn her into a pop star again. It's a one-way ticket to disaster."23/12/2003 14:11
