Wahlberg Pulls Out Of Flick
MARK WAHLBERG has walked out on his latest movie project THE JACKET - leaving an opportunity for OSCAR-winning actor ADRIEN BRODY to take on the role.
Citing identical reasons as BRAD PITT - who recently walked out on the flick MR AND MRS SMITH - Wahlberg is departing the cast of the movie after trouble finding the right leading lady.
But while Pitt's movie originally had NICOLE KIDMAN signed up - before she pulled out due to scheduling difficulties - a female co-star was never in place for Wahlberg's film.
The Jacket tells the story of a soldier who has been convicted of a murder and believes he's travelling through time.
If Brody accepts the movie offer from WARNER BROS PICTURES, it will be his first leading role since his ACADEMY AWARD-winning turn in THE PIANIST.06/08/2003 21:21
